UGCPoster vs ReelFarm: Real Clips vs AI-Made Videos
Oct 13, 2026 · 7 min read
- ReelFarm automates faceless TikTok slideshows, with AI UGC selfies and a hook + demo format on the side.
- UGCPoster turns your own reaction clips and app demos into hooked videos and posts them.
- ReelFarm posts to TikTok. UGCPoster posts to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Paid for your face on a brand account? Use your real clips. Faceless pages for your own product? ReelFarm fits.
UGCPoster vs ReelFarm comes down to whose footage ends up on screen. ReelFarm automates faceless TikTok slideshows and offers AI-made UGC. UGCPoster uses the reaction clips and app demos you filmed yourself, writes a new hook for each video, and posts it to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
If a brand pays you to be the face of its account, that one difference decides most of it. Below: what each tool does, a side-by-side table, prices as of October 2026, and when to pick which.
What ReelFarm does
ReelFarm’s homepage pitch is to “automate AI faceless TikTok slideshows that don’t feel like AI” (reel.farm). You create an automation, pick slideshow formats and a posting schedule, connect a TikTok account, and it generates and publishes new posts every day.
Here’s what its own site and docs list, as of October 2026:
- Slideshow automation. You give it hooks and a direction. It writes the slide text, adds images and posts on your schedule. Its API docs describe hooks as templates “the AI rotates through”.
- Images from Pinterest. “ReelFarm automatically sources images from Pinterest,” or you build your own image collections.
- AI UGC selfies. In its own words: “Generate AI UGC selfies images & videos for your TikTok content.”
- A hook + demo format. A short UGC-style hook, then your product demo. Its changelog lists fixes to this format in March 2026. In mid-2025 ReelFarm led with it, advertising “200+ UGC avatars” and custom AI avatars for the hook (archived homepage, June 2025).
- Posting to TikTok, as a TikTok draft or a direct post (API docs), plus tracking for views, likes and shares.
- Unlimited TikTok accounts and team members on every plan.
Its footer sums up who it’s for: “Automate TikTok slideshows that drive traffic to your website.” That’s founders, marketers and agencies running faceless pages for a product they own.
What it does well: slideshows are cheap to make at volume, and ReelFarm has built a lot around them, including a slideshow library for ideas, a public API, and plain advice in its FAQ on warming up new TikTok accounts. Unlimited accounts on the cheapest plan is generous if you run many pages.
What UGCPoster does
UGCPoster starts from footage you already have. You upload your reaction clips and app demos once, in folders, and every clip is auto-described.
Each run then does four things:
- Pairs a reaction with a demo, least-used clips first.
- Writes a fresh hook from your example hooks and one instruction.
- Renders the video.
- Posts it to TikTok (including native drafts), Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
Per account, you choose: drafts you approve, or straight to the feed on a schedule. You can run several posts a day per project, with one project per client. Each project keeps its own clips, templates, hooks, schedules and accounts.
The output is the standard Canvas UGC format:
Reaction
App demo
Hook
nobody told me this app existed
@yourbrand
original sound — yourbrand
One video
It does not generate AI avatars, make slideshows, film anything, or find deals for you.

The real difference: whose face is on the video
On a Canvas deal, the brand hires you. You post on its account, and often it’s a brand-new one: SideShift tells creators that many brands want them to “build fresh accounts in the campaign’s niche” (SideShift). Your face, your voice and your reactions are what the brand is buying. Canvas UGC vs traditional UGC explains how those deals work.
That’s why AI faces are a different product, not a cheaper version of the same one. An AI avatar can be a fine fit for a founder’s own faceless page. On a client’s account, swapping your face for a generated one changes what the client is paying for.
There are platform rules and legal questions to check, too.

Pricing (as of October 2026)
ReelFarm prices by slideshows. UGCPoster prices by credits, and a typical 13-second video uses about 7 credits.
| Plan | Per month | What you get | Rough cost per post |
|---|---|---|---|
| ReelFarm Growth | $49 | 100 slideshows, 10 TikTok formats | $0.49 |
| ReelFarm Scale | $95 | 250 slideshows, 20 TikTok formats | $0.38 |
| ReelFarm Enterprise | $195 | 750 slideshows, 200 formats | $0.26 |
| UGCPoster Starter | $29 | 600 credits, about 85 videos | $0.34 |
| UGCPoster Pro | $59 | 1,500 credits, about 214 videos | $0.28 |
| UGCPoster Studio | $119 | 3,500 credits, about 500 videos, priority support | $0.24 |
ReelFarm prices from reel.farm/pricing; UGCPoster prices from our pricing page. The cost per post is simple division, not a quote. A slideshow and a 13-second video aren’t the same thing, and credits per video vary.
Both sell extra credits on top of the plan. UGCPoster top-ups never expire, and ReelFarm’s API docs say its one-time purchased credits never reset. ReelFarm’s Enterprise plan also lets you add your own Anthropic API key for unlimited generations.
The bigger cost question isn’t the subscription. It’s what the client pays you for. A deal paid per video or on CPM only keeps paying if the videos are what the brand hired you to make.
When to pick which
Both tools automate the daily grind. They just start from different footage and serve different jobs.
ReelFarm fits you if
- You run faceless pages for your own app or site
- Your niche works as listicles, tips and lists
- You don't want to film anything at all
- TikTok is the only platform you need
- You want many TikTok accounts on one plan
UGCPoster fits you if
- A brand pays you to post with your own face
- You already have reaction clips and app demos
- You post to TikTok, Reels and Shorts
- You run several clients and want them kept apart
- You want drafts to approve before anything goes live
Can you use both?
Yes, they barely overlap. If you also run a faceless page of your own, for a product or an affiliate offer, ReelFarm can automate that page while UGCPoster handles the client accounts that need your face. Keep AI faces off any client account unless the brand has agreed to them in writing.
What neither tool does
Neither one finds brand deals for you. For that, see where to find Canvas UGC jobs. If neither fits, the wider list is in ReelFarm alternatives.
The short version
ReelFarm is a strong pick for faceless TikTok slideshows at volume, with AI faces when you want them. UGCPoster is for creators whose face is the job. It takes the clips you already filmed and handles the daily pairing, hook, render and post across three platforms, so you can run more clients without filming more.
If the deal pays for your face, automate the edit, not the face.
Before you choose, check one thing in your contract: what the brand expects to see on its account.
